- Ask to see the coach's current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or the equivalent child-related clearance required in their Australian state or territory.
- Confirm the clearance is current and valid.
- Ask about the coach's qualifications, experience and coaching philosophy.
- Speak with other parents or read reviews where available.
- Attend the first session and make sure you and your child feel comfortable with the environment.
