Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 May 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms govern your use of the Coach Map service (the "Service") operated by Coach Map ("Coach Map", "we", "us"), based in Queensland, Australia. By creating an account, claiming a listing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Authority and accuracy

You confirm you are at least 18 years old (or have authority to bind the organisation you represent), and that information you submit is accurate and kept up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.

3. The Service

Coach Map is a directory of youth sports coaches, clubs and programs. We offer a free public listing and optional paid tiers (Verified and Priority) that unlock additional profile features and placement.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you agree not to:

5. Intellectual property

Coach Map retains all right, title and interest in the Service, including its software, design, branding and aggregated data. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your plan. You retain ownership of content you submit, and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and process that content solely to operate the Service.

6. Payments, billing and subscriptions

Paid plans are sold and billed by Coach Map, who is the merchant of record for all transactions. Card payments are processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd; we do not store card details on our servers. By subscribing, you also accept Stripe's terms, available at stripe.com/legal/consumer.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual) unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period. Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and, where applicable, are inclusive of Australian GST. Coach Map is responsible for issuing tax invoices and remitting any applicable taxes. If you are a customer outside Australia, you are responsible for any import duties, foreign exchange fees, or local taxes your bank or card issuer applies.

Failed payments and disputes. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry over several days; we may suspend paid features until payment succeeds. Please contact us at hello@coachmap.au before initiating a chargeback — most billing issues can be resolved quickly with a refund under our Refund Policy. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution.

7. Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

8. Service level and warranties

We work hard to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any non-excludable consumer rights you may have in your home jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
